 Washington County Head Start has the following position available:
*These positions offer liberal paid school holidays, Pension Plan, 401 K and health insurance contribution.
Lead Teacher* – Whitehall Center – $10.98/hr. 10 months, six week summer session position. 40 hr/wk. Qualifications: Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood or related field; experience with young children. Must have a valid driver’s license.
Teacher’s Aide* – Cambridge Center– $7.15/hr. 10 months, six week summer session position. 40 hr/wk. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Valid driver’s license. Must be willing to obtain a CDL. Interviews for this position will be scheduled for August 4 & 5, 2008.
Teacher’s Aide* – River Street Center – $7.15/hr. 10 month, six week summer session position. 40 hr/wk. Qualifications: High School diploma or GED. Valid driver’s license. Must be willing to obtain a CDL. Interviews for this position will be scheduled for August 4 & 5, 2008.
Teacher’s Aide* – Dix Avenue Center – $7.15/hr. 10 month position. 40 hr/wk. 8:00 – 4:00. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Valid driver’s license. Must be willing to obtain a CDL.
Interviews for this position will be scheduled for August 4 & 5, 2008.
Cook* – Granville Center -$7.55/hr. 40/hr. wk. Qualifications: High School diploma or GED. Valid driver’s license. Experience helpful.
Bus Driver* – Whithall Center - $8.14/hr. 40 hr/week. Qualification: High School diploma or GED. CDL and a valid driver’s license.
Home Based Visitor** – Dix Avenue Center – $9.84/hour. 10 months, six week summer session position. 40 hr/week. Qualifications: Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood or related field. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. Valid driver’s license.
Family Services Worker** – Dix Avenue Center – $9.27/hr. 40/hr wk. Qualifications: Associate’s Degree in Human Services or related area.
* Lead Teacher, Teacher’s Aides, Bus Driver and Cook resumes need to be in by July 21, 2008.
** Family Worker & Home Visitor resume’s need to be in by July 11, 2008.
